I Have a Crush

The crush is on a dive boat so I don't suppose that's really a problem for my husband. I think he even has the same crush.

It's a beautiful boat for diving as it's a fully-outfitted catamaran with big cushy seating and ample shade from the hot Caribbean sun. It has storage so stocked that you never have to go into a dive shop or gear room to get something and then lug it over to the boat. It has a great crew, Thierry and David, two relocated Frenchman, who happily motor out to some of the most lively and photogenic sites in St. Barths. It even has a cool name: The Blue Cat.

Why do I love this boat so much? Dare I say it, even more than all the others that I've been on? Because it's good for Baby.

Baby requires a lot of space and we've made it work on other boats and will continue to do so when doing boat diving. However, the nice big dunk tank for Baby after dives, the soft cushion she rests on while we get ready, the wide platform that allows her to be gently lowered to me while in the water...If I could swoon in a Musing, I would.

I truly love the photography artwork that I create. It's often not easy to get the right shot when working in open water as it takes a great deal of patience, which I have, and time, which I don't always have. Anything that makes the process easier is welcome. Anything that makes it easier and more enjoyable, that's just a bonus!

So, with that, I want to thank the crew (and the boat) at Plongée Caraïbes in St. Barts/St. Barths for another wonderful experience. Baby and I will be back again next year. Maybe sooner than that since we miss you, The Blue Cat, and the gorgeous waters of St. Barths already.
